US2U Goes Down Under

us2u-goes-down-underRachel Blackburn visited Goodman Fielder, Australasia's leading listed food company, in Sydney as part of the international business development strategy. It was interesting to note the priorities and challenges facing a company that has been of part of daily life for a century and where generations of Australians and New Zealanders have grown up with their brands in their kitchens. Oliver Flint, Commercial Operations Director, said, "We have a great opportunity to develop the behaviours and culture as we pursue manufacturing efficiency, optimise the logistics platform and invest in brand support".

norfolk-recruitment-awards-2008For the third consecutive year US2U Consulting supported the Norfolk Recruitment Awards and sponsored the flowers.

It was a glitzy, black tie evening and everyone had a great night. Congratulations to all the winners and finalists. Despite some difficult trading conditions the outlook of the industry was forward looking, taking a positive approach towards 2009.

Norfolk Recruitment Awards 2007

norfolk-recruitment-awards-2007It was good to be able to support and sponsor the flowers at the Norfolk Recruitment Awards for the second year running.

A superb night was had by all, especially by our team at US2U Consulting as we confirmed our first recruitment assignment that same day.

us2u-consulting-crosses-the-atlanticWe have recently launched a management development initiative in Canada for one of our clients. We anticipate that this initiative is the first of many global assignments.

The Management College

the-management-collegeDemonstrating the diversity of our projects, we have recently researched, designed and planned an academic focused programme of learning and development for the management team from one of our clients.

The launch presentation was attended by all participants where we enjoyed a delicious dinner together with the Challenger, Entrepreneur and Record Breaker Richard Noble OBE who we organised at short notice.

The Great Outdoors

the-great-outdoorsThe sky was blue and the sun was shining as we delivered an outdoor teambuilding session for one of our clients.

After tailoring the day to match the exact needs we arrived with whistles, blindfolds, eggs to mention just a few things. Everyone involved enjoyed the day immensely, thought it was a very positive experience and it has strengthened relationships in the team.

US2U Consulting helps SuperSports Kidz Club

us2u-consulting-helps-supersports-kidz-clubIn June we saw an article in the local paper about SuperSports Kidz Club, a charity based in Norwich that runs various sporting events for children with physical disabilities. They were looking for sponsors to assist in paying for training and travel as from September the Norwich Lowriders, its basketball team, will play for the first time in the Great Britain Wheelchair Basketball Association.

We decided that we should support this local charity and so on Saturday 2 August some of the team went along to present a cheque for £500.

Sue Coombe, the club’s co-co-ordinator said: “This will certainly be a fantastic boost to our club, and especially to our wheelchair basketball team, which we set up just two years ago. We are currently in the process of joining the Great Britain Wheelchair Basketball Association Junior League. This means so much to the children, as they will get to play competitively for the first time against other teams from across the UK.”
