  • 'Auction of Promises' in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support

    auction-of-promises-in-aid-of-macmillan-cancer-supportAs part of our 1st birthday celebrations, we held an 'Auction of Promises' - raising £1400 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

    We were delighted to present the cheque to Helen Chapman, Community Fundraiser who advised that our donation would pay for nearly 200 people to be helped by their telephone helpline CancerLine. So thank you to everybody who helped us support our 2007 charity.

  • A Charitable Winter

    US2U Consulting is pleased to be able to give back to the community by supporting two charities this winter.

    US2U Consulting donated to events supporting Marie Curie, the charity that provides nursing care for terminally ill cancer patients, and Red Balloon Learning Centres, who support the rehabilitation of bullied children.

    US2U Consulting Director Rachel Blackburn said: "We are always eager to lend our support to good causes when we can. It is important to do what we can to help those in our community who are going through a tough time, especially over the winter period."

  • Boot Solution Required!

    US2U Consulting took custody of a pair of Wayne Rooney's signed, match-worn football boots in earlier this week, won at the Dot Com Children's Foundation Strictly Ballroom Fundraising Gala Dinner on 14 September in London.

    There is only one problem though - we don't quite know what to do with them! If you have an idea how we could use them to make a significant sum for a specific charity that needs support, please get in touch or tweet us @US2UConsulting!

  • Celebrating 5 Years of Achieving Success Together

    TA105.JPGThere are many things that we are proud to have achieved since we started trading in April 2006. One of these is that we have had a Corporate Social Responsibility Strategy that has meant that as well achieving positive outcomes with our clients we have also been able to support a number of charities including NORCAS, Norwich Lowriders, Cancer Research UK, Macmillan Cancer Support and the Princes Trust.

  • Championing Childline!

    US2U Consulting was pleased to support the Childline Ball 2018 in Manchester on Saturday 3 March.

    Childline is a charity which provides a free, private and confidential service for children and young people under 19 in the UK who have worries and need help and support.

    The ball raised £194,000. This is enough to train 121 Childline Counsellors - a vital element to providing this great service.

  • Christmas Jumper Day 2019!

    We enjoyed taking part in Save The Children UK's Christmas Jumper Day for the second year running, this year donating £60 to the charity.

    Save The Children operates in over 100 countries to help every child reach their full potential, and have used their annual Christmas Jumper Day to raise funds and awareness for their cause.

  • Going up in the World with Red Balloon

    US2U Consulting was pleased to support local charity Red Balloon Learner Centres with their Christmas fundraising event in Norwich. It was an excellent event, and for the second year running Rachel Blackburn read a poem she had written, titled Some Personal Reflections from 2014.

    The aim of Red Balloon is the recovery of bullied children. They provide an 'intensive care' full-time education for children aged between 9-18 who are unable to go to school because they have suffered trauma, such as the death of a parent, abuse, rape or some other experience which makes them particularly vulnerable. At least half of the students they take have attempted or seriously considered suicide.

  • Jeremy Goss Heads Fundraiser for the NNAB

    Norwich City Football Club legend Jeremy Goss, the Head of Fundraising for the Norfolk & Norwich Association for the Blind (NNAB) hosted an evening of fun in support of the charity.

    US2U Consulting was pleased to be in attendance and support a good cause. The NNAB helps 20000 people with poor sight throughout Norfolk. It has a residential home and 20 sheltered flats for blind and partially sighted people.

    Rachel said "It is great to support a local charity which helps so many people be as independent as possible.

  • Nelson's Journey Smiles Awards 2015 with ABC Taxis Ltd

    It was a pleasure to be invited to attend the Nelson's Journey Smiles Awards 2015 by ABC Taxis Ltd.

    Nelson's Journey is a charity that supports bereaved children and young people. ABC Taxis was nominated for a "Best in-kind Support Award" as each month they provide a number of taxi journeys free of charge for the charity to transport children and young people to various support events.

    Simon Callender, Director ABC Taxis, is pictured with one of their environmentally-friendly cars which carries the Nelson's Journey brand.

  • NORCAS Ball

    TA108.jpgWe were pleased to support the second Friends of NORCAS Ball as they raised money for their 'TOO Much TOO Young Appeal'. A great evening concluded with a raffle, auction of promises and live music.

  • NORCAS Recovery Walk

    TA109.jpgWe were pleased to support the NORCAS walk along the seafront in Great Yarmouth - one of the events organised as part of the Recovery Month of June 2011. This encourages people who have recovered from alcohol and substance misuse, along with their agencies and partners, to celebrate recovery.

    Purple is the colour reflecting this recovery celebration and everyone wore as much purple as possible. Funds raised are going to the NORCAS 'TOO Much TOO Young Appeal'.

  • Strictly Making a Positive Difference!

    Rachel Blackburn was thrilled to be invited to the Dot Com Children's Foundation Strictly Ballroom Fundraising Gala Dinner on Monday 14th September at Mansion House, London.

    Dot Com Children's Foundation is aimed at empowering children through its Value Versus Violence Education Programme and managed to raise an impressive £81,000 on the night.

    Attending as a guest of long-standing client Worldwide Fruit and pictured with the night's compare Anton Du Beke, Rachel Blackburn contributed to the silent auction, winning a signed pair of Wayne Rooney's matchworn football boots!

  • Supporting Red Balloon

  • Supporting the Journey

    Nelsons Journey is a charity dedicated to supporting bereaved children and young people throughout Norfolk. Based in Norwich, since 1997 it has helped over 1500 children between the ages of 0-17 who have experienced the death of a significant person in their life eg a parent or a sibling. We were pleased to support their first Purple Dinner and Dance and assist with them raising over £4000.   • US2U Consulting at the Norfolk Show Ball 2015

    US2U Consulting were pleased to support and attend the 2015 Norfolk Show Ball, in aid of the Norfolk & Norwich Association for the Blind, on Friday 26 June.

    The popular event, often marking the start of the summer season, was well attended, and US2U donated a week's stay in a holiday apartment in Turkey for the silent auction that took place on the night.

    The night was a success, raising money for a good cause and ensuring a good time was had by all!

  • US2U Consulting Have a Ball with YMCA Norfolk!

    Members of the US2U Consulting team enjoyed attending YMCA Norfolk's 2017 Annual Ball on Friday 15 September, with the Monopoly-themed event held at Sprowston Manor.

    The night was held to raise vital funds and awareness for the charity, which is committed to supporting young people to enable them to reach their full potential, as well as celebrate the successes of the last 12 months. YMCA Norfolk raised a total of £12,854 on the night.

    We certainly had a ball and are looking forward to next year, too!

  • US2U Consulting Helps Paint the Picture

    Marketing Coordinator Kerwin Blackburn has produced a Jackson Pollock-styled painting for Norwich social enterprise Your Own Place CIC.

    Titled "Illumination" to reflect the organisation's theme of highlighting and providing training of key skills related to independent living, with the goal of tackling youth homelessness, the painting is in their company colours of orange and green.

    "People are totally wowed by it!" said founder Rebecca White. Good luck to Your Own Place CIC with their official launch on 27 September!

  • US2U Consulting Make Norwich Lowriders Donation

    In line with the company's December theme of charitable giving, US2U Consulting were pleased to make a donation to Norwich Lowriders Wheelchair Basketball Club, a sports team we intially supported back in 2008 when the club was first getting established.

    It was great to catch up with some of the people involved with the club and to hear about the progress they have made since their early days, which has seen them grow from playing locally to competing in regional and national competitions.

    Rachel Blackburn is pictured with Tina Connor-Saunders and Sara Trower, who are responsible for the management and organisation of the club.

  • US2U Consulting Support the British Red Cross

    US2U Consulting were pleased to make a donation to the British Red Cross to enable them to purchase two new wheelchairs for their Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk mobility services.

    The wheelchairs will be provided, alongside various other forms of mobility aids, to those in need across the East of England, with the goal of getting people more active.

    "Thank you so much to US2U Consulting for donating the money towards the wheelchairs. This money will be incredibly helpful in allowing us to continue providing great service to people across the East of England. We provide various mobility aids to over 50 people each week in Norfolk alone and it is great to see businesses in the region supporting us in our goal of getting people in need more mobile and active." Said Paul Fleet, Senior Community Fundraiser (pictured alongside Rachel and Kerwin Blackburn).

    Rachel Blackburn commented, "we are really happy and excited to be supporting the work of the British Red Cross in Norfolk. They are one of the world's most renowned and recognised charities and we are sure the wheelchairs we have bought for them will help as many people as possible."

  • US2U Consulting supports the James Milner Foundation

    US2U Consulting were proud to attend the James Milner Foundation's Come Fly With Me charity ball, held in Manchester. It was a great evening having dinner underneath Concorde and enjoying a wide range of entertainment and activities.

    Most importantly, the event raised over £100,000 for charities Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, the NSPCC and Help for Heroes.

  • US2U Consulting Takes to the Stage - Literally

    US2U Consulting are the latest sponsors of the safety curtain at Norwich Theatre Royal which means their logo will be seen by people attending the wide-range of productions at the venue including touring musical hit Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert, the long-awaited Northern Ballet production of The Great Gatsby, and the world-renowned Glyndebourne Opera Company.

    We wanted to support the theatre and its education programme as part of its commitment to back charitable and community organisations across the county.

    Laetitia Webb, development director at Norwich Theatre Royal, said: “We are delighted to get this financial support from US2U Consulting which means we can continue to build on our education programme providing learning opportunities across the community linked to our many shows and performances.”

    The logo will feature on the safety curtain from August 2013 for one year.

  • US2U makes a Sweet Difference

    US2U Consulting were pleased to donate an assortment of sweets and confectionary, left over from a recent event, to Your Own Place CIC, a Norwich-based social enterprise committed to finding new solutions to old problems with the prevention of youth homelessness as the final outcome.

    Your Own Place Director and Founder, Rebecca White, tweeted "our young people are going to love them in the training flat" - their recently-launched property in which they will provide hands-on training and experience of how to live indepently to young people.
