Seven months since Rachel Blackburn launched the Women In Norwich initiative to encourage more women to develop their business to address the gender imbalance, she delivered a two hour masterclass for the group, focusing on Producing a Robust Business Plan. The event was sponsored by No 8, Thorpe Road who kindly let the group use their excellent facilities to deliver the session. The reputation of the group has spread and one person travelled up from Chelmsford to participate.
"It is great to see the group continuing to provide supportive monthly sessions for the community. And we have been able to continue with our vision of making the sessions free to attend to void that barrier to entry." said Rachel.
Each person was encouraged to produce or update their own business plan and the feedback has been very positive:
"Thank you so much for a fantastic evening! It was a real pleasure to listen to you - a fascinating insight into your busy world and great Master Class."
"Thanks very much for yesterday evening, it was a really inspiring session and great to be part of the group for the evening too."
"Thank you for the warm welcome last night and a fantastic, very informative and thought-provoking evening."
